Welcome to our contest page. It is for all you short fiction and poetry writers of all ages in Indiana. We are a place where it doesn't matter your expertise, credentials, or education within the field of literature. We are looking for those who have the ability of telling a well told story, not the ability to be perfect with grammer. For anyone who submits any work to our site will receive a free private critique from us on the work in a whole, plus the opportunity to be read around the world as our viewer-ship grows along with the public's critiques. Our hope is to encourage all you inspired writers and poets to finally finish your work and get it out for the world to read, because you just never know what may come of it.

This is our beloved writing contest that has been with us from the beginning. It has been a big part of who we are here at Fresh-Eye Promotions, and each entry is accepted that follows the guidelines set forth.

Open and free to all Indiana writers and poets
The short fiction and poetry winners will be notified within five months after deadline with their story or poem earning a cash award and matched dollar for dollar towards any percentage the winners choose to donate of their winnings to the charity they prefer.

Deadline for all entries must be postmarked by November 1, 2016
We are interested in respectful pieces only. In other words any work submitted that promotes hatred and erotica will not be read or published in the anthology, and shredded with no reply.

POETRY - is limited to three of any length per entry along with a brief bio about you and your work submitted. Put contact information in top left corner of title page and word count in top right.

SHORT FICTION - is limited to one double-spaced type written story between 1,200 to 15,000 words in length of any genre and style. Keep in mind, however, that longer work isn't always a better told story. Put name and contact info in top left of title page and word count in top left corner of all following pages.

Please also include a brief bio of you and your work submitted.
